Great modern and top-notch rooms with a nice view available. Savoury and nice hot breakfasts, with poached eggs and great view and proper coffee. Excellent employees in all areas.

good location,
staff had no local knowledge (eg not heard of best local restaurants), they were unresponsive to our requests (eg had to ask 3 times for two bath towels in a double rooom) and slow to repsond to our needs in the restuarant. I left a complaint about the fact that our room was not serviced although we were out during the day with a sign requesting this be done. My impression was that the compaint would be "lost" or not acted upon.

Good intentions, flawed execution
Staff were polite, offering assistance with directions, contributing to a cute environment! Breakfast had a wonderful selection, cooked to order.
The absence of a detailed hotel guide seemed quite unhelpful! The noise from extraction fans near my room was quite distracting.

The housekeeping was really good throughout our stay.
We faced significant issues with our room's lack of air circulation since it faced a wall. Despite requesting a room change, we were told we had to pay an extra £75 per night. The shower cubicle was so tiny that it felt suffocating.

The food in the bar was very reasonable and excellent. The hotel in general was very high standard and breakfast is cooked for you and you can have whatever you want. Definitely will go back again....

Went for the TT. Great place, great room, great restaurant, great staff, great place to go for TT, close to race, shops, lots of restaurants, pubs, etc.
During the TT it is a little expensive for our usual budget, but everything is expensive during the TT.
